This Payment & Billing Policy explains how Made by Jessica (operated by HK EMPIRE TRADE SOLUTIONS LIMITED) processes payments, applies billing charges, and handles related matters. By placing an order on our website, you agree to and accept this Payment & Billing Policy.
1. Store Currency
- All prices on our website are displayed in British Pounds Sterling (GBP).
- Prices shown are the product prices only and do not include UK customs duties, import taxes, or VAT that may be applied upon delivery.
- If you pay using a card in a currency other than GBP, your bank or payment provider may charge a currency conversion fee. Made by Jessica does not charge any conversion fee.

All payments are processed securely through encrypted, PCI-DSS compliant systems.
3. Billing Process
- Orders are charged immediately at the time of purchase.
- Your billing statement may show the charge from Made by Jessica or HK EMPIRE TRADE SOLUTIONS LIMITED.
- No subscriptions or installment plans are offered.
- Payment authorization is required before your order is processed.
4. Customs, Duties, Taxes & Additional Charges
- Since all orders are shipped internationally from Hong Kong to the United Kingdom, your order may be subject to UK customs duties, import taxes, and/or VAT upon delivery.
- These charges are NOT included in our product prices and are NOT included in our free shipping offer.
- As the customer, you are the importer of record and are solely responsible for any customs fees, import duties, or taxes applied by UK customs authorities.
- Made by Jessica has no control over these charges and cannot predict their amount.
- Refusal to pay customs fees may result in your package being returned to sender at your expense.
5. Payment Security
- All transactions are processed using SSL encryption and PCI-DSS compliant payment systems.
- We do not store your full credit card or debit card numbers on our servers.
- We may hold or cancel orders if suspicious or fraudulent activity is detected.
- For your security, we may request additional verification for large orders or orders to new addresses.
6. Failed or Declined Payments
- If payment fails during checkout, the payment gateway will automatically release or return any pending authorization to your original payment method.
- Refund processing typically takes 3-7 business days, depending on your bank or payment provider.
- If your payment is declined multiple times, please contact your bank or try a different payment method.
7. Refunds
- Refunds are issued to the original payment method only.
- Refunds typically appear in your account within 7-10 business days after approval, depending on your bank or payment provider.
- We cannot issue refunds to a different payment method or account than the one used for purchase.
- Customs fees, duties, or taxes paid upon delivery are not refundable by Made by Jessica.

8. Disputes & Chargebacks
- If you receive a damaged or incorrect product, please report it within 24-48 hours of delivery by emailing photos to support@made-by-jessica.com.
- We strongly encourage you to contact us before initiating a chargeback or payment dispute, as we can often resolve issues faster and more satisfactorily.
- Chargebacks may result in account suspension and may affect your ability to place future orders.
9. Order Cancellations
- You can cancel your order free of charge within 12 hours of placing it.
- To cancel, email support@made-by-jessica.com immediately with your order number.
- After 12 hours, your order will have been processed for shipment and cannot be cancelled.
- You may still return items after delivery according to our Return & Refund Policy (return shipping costs apply for change-of-mind returns).
10. Policy Updates
We may update this Payment & Billing Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices or for legal reasons.
- Customers will be notified of significant changes via email or a notice on our website.
- The "Last Updated" date at the top will be revised.
- Continued use of our website or placing an order after updates constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
